Key Features

Highlights of the Korean edition of CrossPoint Reader.

EPUB & TXT with Korean rendering

EPUB 2/3 (with images and tables), a TXT reader, and the X4-specific XTC/XTCH formats. Bundled KoPub Batang plus custom .epdfont fonts render Hangul, Hanja, and special characters cleanly.

Web flasher & font converter

Flash over USB from Chrome/Edge with no esptool or driver install. Convert TTF/OTF fonts into .epdfont right in the browser and drop them onto the SD card.

WiFi transfer & Calibre integration

Built-in web server for wireless uploads, OPDS catalog downloads, and Calibre Wireless transfers. Hotspot mode lets you connect directly without a router.

KOReader reading-progress sync

Pair with a KOReader Sync server to keep your last reading position aligned across phones, tablets, and other readers.

Smart reading environment

Auto page turn, inline footnote navigation, screen rotation, cover/custom-image sleep screens, fine-grained font/spacing/layout controls, and multilingual EPUB support.

CrossPoint Cloud — remote SD sync

After a one-time pairing, you can upload, download, rename, and delete SD-card files from any browser. The reader opens an outbound WebSocket to the cloud, so no port forwarding is required.

Quick Install

Install firmware right from your web browser.

1

Connect USB

Connect the X4 with a USB-C cable, or the X3 with the included magnetic cable, to your computer.

2

Run the web flasher

Open the web flasher, connect your device, and choose the firmware.

3

The device reboots automatically once flashing finishes. If it appears stuck, press the Reset button and hold the power button for at least one second to boot.
